When you submit a decision brief, we collect your name, company name, email address, and the decision brief text you provide. We also collect payment information through Stripe — we never see or store your credit card number.
Your decision brief is used solely to generate your pre-mortem analysis report. It is processed through encrypted AI analysis (Anthropic API) and the results are delivered only to the email address you provide. Your data is never used to train AI models, per Anthropic API terms.
Your decision brief is encrypted at rest using AES-128 (Fernet) encryption. The encryption key is stored separately from the database. Data is transmitted over TLS encrypted connections. No human reviews your brief or report unless you explicitly request support.
If you accept the mutual NDA at checkout, we may retain fully anonymized structural patterns from your analysis — decision type, risk categories, and outcome classification only. All identifying information (company name, individual names, financial figures, product names) is removed. You may opt out of anonymized data retention at any time by emailing us.
Your encrypted decision brief and report are retained for up to 365 days to support our follow-up outcome tracking. You may request deletion of all your data at any time by emailing us. Upon request, all data is permanently deleted within 7 business days and written confirmation is provided. Audit log entries (timestamps and action types only, no brief content) are retained for compliance purposes.
We use the following third-party services to operate Pre-Mortem.ai:
Anthropic API — processes your brief to generate the analysis. Anthropic does not train on API data. Stripe — processes payments. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy. DigitalOcean — hosts our servers in the United States.
Pre-Mortem.ai does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies. We may use essential session cookies required for the checkout flow.
You have the right to request access to your data, request deletion of your data, opt out of anonymized data retention, and receive a copy of any data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.
